Come along to Thatcham Nature Discovery Centre and make the perfect present for you Mum!

You'll be able to decorate a plant pot and make felt flowers to put in it and take it home.

Afterwards enjoy the fantastic visitor centre; packed full of interactive wildlife and natural history displays, giant jigsaw puzzles and wildlife brass rubbings. Let off some steam in the adventure playgrounds or have a well earned rest in delicious cafe.

From M4: Take juction 12 off the M4 and head for A4 Newbury. On entering Thatcham follow the signs for NATure Discovery Centre, turning left at the first major set of traffic lights you reach. You will pass 'Waitrose' supermarket on your right hand side. Continue along lower Way, cross over several mini roundabouts following signs for Newbury. The Nature Discovery Centre is located on the left hand side of the road after the playing fields.

From Newbury: At Robin Hood roundabout, head out along the A4 London Road towards Thatcham. Go straight through the traffic lights at the junction for hambridge Road Industrial Estate and Nebwury Raceecourse and turn at the next set of traffic lights onto Lower Way (opposite West Berkshire Community Hospital) Continue along Lower Way and the Nature Discovery Centre is located on the right hand side of the road.
