Basildon village market at Basildon

The market is held at Basildon village hall, Bethesda Street, Basildon RG8 8NU and runs from 10am - 12.30pm.

The hall is packed full of wondrous stalls offering artisan breads, home made cakes, fresh vegetables, eggs, fish, meat, plants and gifts, as well as delightful seasonal offerings.

The market café offers a delicious range of cakes, biscuits and hot and cold drinks.

Come along and enjoy the atmosphere as well as the treats. Why not offer a lift to an elderly friend, relative or neighbour and let them enjoy an hour out of the house, too?

Have you got unwanted household items, children's toys or clothes? Would you like to sell rather than give them away? If so, there are 3 table tops at each market, in the car park at £5 per table, on a first come first served basis. Pre-booking essential. No plants or home baked goods please.
