Thatcham Festival of Arts and Leisure at Thatcham

The 13th annual Thatcham Festival or Arts & Leisure will be taking place from Saturday 12th - Friday 25th October at various venues around the Thatcham area.

Activities in 2012 included a stamp fair, rugby tournament, art exhibition, photographic workshop, classic car show, landscape and wildlife walks, brass band concert, children's craft activities, talk on Thatcham's history, an evening with a crime author, woodland explorer event .. and much, much more!

To ensure the Festival is inclusive, entry continues to be free to the majority of events. A couple of events will charge an entry fee to cover costs and these are marked in the the programme with a £ symbol. An additional charge may be made for some optional items such as refreshments and 'make and take' activities at some events.

For many events you may well be asked to collect a free ticket from The Family Bookshop in Thatcham or you might need to book a space for certain activities, all this information is clearly shown in the programme. These programmes will be available for collection from Newbury Tourist Information Centre.
