Watership Brass at Victoria Park

What better way to spend a couple of hours on a summer's afternoon than enjoying one of the local brass or silver bands playing at the bandstand in Victoria Park in Newbury.

Watership Brass Band, with a current membership of 28 volunteer musicians, meets in Newbury on a weekly basis to indulge in their love of music. Members are drawn from all walks of life and with an age difference between the youngest and oldest members of over 50 years, they embrace the philosophy that 'music is for ALL'

Watership Brass' motto is 'Serving the Community Musically' and they achieve this by being available for local events. Past venues have included fetes, wedding receptions, church recitals, charity events and bandstand concerts.

So bring your deck chairs, picnic rugs and a few refreshments and relax for a couple of hours alongside the Kennet & Avon canal.
