Royal County of Berkshire Show at Newbury Showground
You will go a long way to find a bigger and better family event than the Royal County of Berkshire Show.
This year’s event promises a diverse countryside adventure over two fun-filled days. While the skies will be alive with aerial displays, at ground level, there will be something for everyone – from Team Extreme BMX & skateboard coaching to a shearing demonstration where the sheep dance to disco music.
The show also remains a firm highlight in the UK’s agricultural calendar with hundreds of cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry from all over the country competing for top prizes. The show will also host a prestigious national competition for young handlers. With hundreds of stands showcasing the best of British produce and gifts, no high street offers the same diversity of shopping, crafts and foods. Advance discounted tickets will be available from Newbury Tourist Information Centre in the Market Place, Newbury late July.
