Welcoming Bed and Breakfast at Thatched House, Chieveley, near Newbury. Lovely, spacious, self-contained, ground floor accommodation in a beautiful, thatched house with a pretty, walled garden. 1 double bedroom, bathroom, large living area with sofa bed and TV with DVD, kettle, fridge, microwave etc. Visit Britain Silver Award and Breakfast Award. Maximum occupancy – family of 5 (using folding bed) or 2 couples happy to share the bathroom. Several very good restaurants close by!

By Road:
From East, South and West: At M4 J13, take A34 North (Oxford), keeping in left lane. Turn off to Chieveley and follow road into village. We are about 200 yards past the shop on the right.

From the North: Come off A34 to Beedon /Chieveley and follow road through Beedon and World's End. Take 2nd right into Chieveley (East Lane). At top turn right. Thatched House is 150 yards on the right.

By Public Transport:
From Newbury Station, take the No 6, 7 or 9 bus to Chieveley. This leaves at regular intervals through the day and brings you along Chieveley High Street. Get off the bus after the shop (East Lane/Church Lane stop).
