A warm welcome awaits you at events throughout the area. You will be amazed at the huge variety of things happening; there really is something for everyone. Cultural events such as the Newbury International Spring Festival and Comedy Festival provide rich entertainment. A volley of shots, battle cries and an authentic atmosphere are to be found at the Battle Proms concert at Highclere and the Sealed Knot at Shaw House.
Events for the whole family can be found throughout the year from Mother's Day at Basildon Park, Family Fun Day at Newbury Racecourse and Halloween Hullabaloo in Newbury. For some fresh air in the beautiful countryside go to the Lambourn Open Day on Good Friday or Beale Park Boat Show in June.
Autumn sees some of the biggest events in our calendar with the Royal County Show at Newbury Showground, the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury Racecourse and the Victorian Extravaganza in Hungerford.
